Tips for the Holiday host!

Are you hosting this years holiday gathering? Here is your pre party checklist:

Hosting a Holiday gathering can be a fun and festive way to celebrate the holiday season with friends and family. Here are a few tips to help you plan and host a successful Christmas gathering:
        1.      Plan ahead. Start planning your gathering at least a few weeks in advance to give yourself plenty of time to prepare. Determine the date and time, decide on a guest list, and choose a location.

        2.      Set a budget. Determine how much money you have to spend on your gathering and stick to it. This will help you avoid overspending and ensure that you have enough money to cover all of the necessary expenses.

        3.      Choose a theme. A Christmas-themed gathering can be even more fun and memorable if you choose a specific theme. Some ideas could include a traditional Christmas party, a ugly sweater party, or a holiday movie night.
        4.      Plan the menu. Food is an important part of any gathering, and a Christmas gathering is no exception. Plan a menu that includes a mix of sweet and savory dishes, as well as drinks and desserts. Consider any dietary restrictions or allergies among your guests when planning the menu.

  • Consider a customizable drink menu to make your bar or bar cart really stand out! Lucky you I’ve taken the liberty of making one for you, check it out here

        5.      Decorate the space. Add some festive touches to the gathering space to get everyone in the holiday spirit. Use Christmas decorations, such as garlands, wreaths, and twinkling lights, to create a warm and inviting atmosphere. I personally recommend dual usage decor such as appetizers doubling as table decor! Check out my recent blog post for some inspiration, click here!

  • While on the topic of table decor, personalized place settings add the perfect touch to make your guests feel special! Get yours here!

        6.      Provide entertainment. Consider providing some entertainment for your guests, such as playing holiday music or hosting a gift exchange. You could also plan a fun activity, like a gingerbread house-making contest or a holiday-themed trivia game.

Overall, hosting a Christmas gathering can be a fun and memorable way to celebrate the holiday season. By planning ahead and taking care of the details, you can create a festive and enjoyable event that your guests will love
